Getting Your Habits On Track

Getting Your Habits On Track

February 19, 2019

It's no longer considered the New Year which means good habits are starting to slide and bad habits are starting to creep in. 😵  Here's a great list to recharge your resolution and redirect your energies:
  1. Prioritize your to-do list in order of importance. Writing a list of things that need to be done is important BUT what's even more important is to put the things that are most important at the top instead of having a running list of things to be done.
  2. Your mind, body, and soul need to be top priority:  Without your health you have nothing. Motivation drops, choices for foods that nourish get overlooked, exercise and sleep aren't prioritized, meditation is put aside. When you focus on these parts of yourself first, your life flourishes in all other areas.
  3. Meditate daily. The practice of meditation allows you to tame the "monkey mind" and be more in control of your emotions. It's been shown that just 10-30 minutes of daily meditation changes the brain. And if that seems impossible, try 3-5 minutes. It's a start!
  4. Move your body DAILY. Whether it's going for a walk, doing yoga, or lifting weights, make sure it's done every day. Your brain power and productivity will be greatly boosted.
  5. Brain dump once a week. Take everything in your head and put in on paper at least once a week. Prioritize what's most important (See #1)
  6. Feed your mind with positivity. Remove negativity from your life, as much as you can. That means people and media. A diet of positive, inspiring news is as important as eating a healthy diet.
  7. Nourish your body. Eat foods as close to nature as possible. Stay away from sugar, toxic environments, and relationships, processed foods as much as you can.
  8. Get 7-8 hours of quality sleep. Get a sleep tracker to make sure your sleep is solid. Poor sleep will lower the quality of every other part of your life and will eventually lead to disease. It's the most important health practice.
  9. Fuel your body with CBD. Your endocannabinoid system needs fuel to manage its critical regulatory responsibilities. CBD fuels this system.
  10. Find time to work on your passions. Modern life has a way of moving you away from your passions in order to chase illusions. Resist this at all costs. Life is meant to be embraced by discovering your gifts and sharing them.
  11. Maintain a healthy gut. Many diseases start in the gut. Making sure you have a healthy gut biome can't be overstated. Do a gut biome test and have it analyzed.
  12. Be consistent. Consistency in all the above creates habits that will create success. Without consistency in action, you just have theory.

Knowledge isn't power... APPLIED KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
